About Emilio Sotelo
Emilio Sotelo was born and raised in Taxco, Mexico - the World Capital of Silver - where his family has been handcrafting fine silver jewelry for generations. His innate passion for design, coupled with the skills learned from his father to transform raw silver into beautiful silver jewelry, encouraged him to create his own jewelry line.
In 2001 Emilio decided to make San Francisco his home. The cosmopolitan ambiance of San Francisco inspired Emilio to launch his own jewelry line for the first time under his own name - Emilio Sotelo Silver Jewelry Collection!
"The core material in all my designs is silver. I have always been amazed by the shine and that particular color that this precious metal emanates. Growing up with the sounds of silversmith's tools working raw silver thought me to respect and love this precious metal. One of the best experiences I had was constantly witnessing the magic of taking dreams and ideas from sketches on paper to beautiful silver creations to adorn the human body."
